I heard some sentences about trouble in hotel Monte Casa.
Crazy story: a new renovated ****hotel, no guests, no management, no marketing, no website, full maintained by service personell, but no money??

thats not true, I personally met an owner about a week ago... They made an unfortunate decision to rely on a single operator to bring guests in, and that operator failed. They've been paying staff, bearing losses and now they are changing strategy, hiring management and so on...

He wrote twice: "STAY AWAY FROM MONTE CASA!!!!!!"

This is funny part:
"...it is managed by thugs. They quote you one price - which they refuse to put in writing - and then raise it substantially by almost double using threats and intimidation by their security staff to force you to pay."

So Dromo you should say to the friend about those american comments too

His multilanguage skills are hiting top with "solid" (only) english language and i supose great russian language (as mother tongue).

Nowadays, we can see results of excellent marketing and good planing: no billboards, no radio and TV marketing. Nowhere.

They should pay those guys big money for newspaper reclame, because they didn't sad anything ugly about Hotel. Thay talked about work problems and they sad same as the owner: "and now they are changing strategy, hiring management and so on..."

Hello to all of you!

My sister have worked there in their spa (doing massages etc.) - They've paid her the specialization in massages trainings in Podgorica and they've had a contract to work there for a few months, and the story was - that they will prolong the contract in order to settle down the investment in their knowledge - they have had a sort of 'action weekends' for couples (around saint Valentine's day) but never put it on billboards. Started to be late with payments around New Year's holidays and when the staff asked them for the contract prolongations they've responded - oh well, we will come to that later!
Now they try to make them pay for specialization trough threats by law - even if they never made contracts written on paper.
I don't understand why all the fuss of renovating and than keeping secret the hotel that has so much to give to the guests - unless making some type of 'business' that is nor legal nor socially accepted.

So, it's up to you if you'd like to spend the week there - I rather wouldn't - prefer some private apartment with a real-stated price and peace. Especially don't lose the opportunity to visit Petrovac that has it's charm even in Autumn.

There is several suits against Hotel Monte Casa, actually company Doo Petrohotel, and there will be more because they gave quit to some workers, even they where on sick leave.

They where at Ombudsman * protector of human rights *, all inspections, but i will try to pull some more info and write here.

The main question is why the state is not doing anything?

Monte carlo is nice. Like the racing circuit. I always chose that circuit on the playstation when I was 8. The place where it is is very nice. But this city needs some new buildings. some new fresh highrises
