    The new Opel Astra GTC makes its world premiere at the international Paris Motor Show (September 25 – October 10, 2004). With its expressive, dynamic design, the Astra GTC (Gran Turismo Compact) delivers what its name promises. At the same time, the third unique model – after the five-door and station wagon – in the new Astra generation is the most dramatic interpretation of the Astra form language. The GTC’s look is accentuated by a panorama windshield, which is making its own world premiere in the three-door model. The glass sunroof extending to the B-pillar creates a whole new sense of space and driving feeling

    At market launch, the Astra GTC comes with a choice of five gasoline and three CDTI common-rail diesel engines with power outputs from 90 to 200 hp. All engines comply with the Euro 4 emissions standard. Both 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engines as well as the 1.9 CDTI units with 120 and 150 hp promise exciting driving. A state-of-the-art maintenance-free diesel particulate filter (DPF) is available for both 1.9 CDTI models. Technology that is exclusive to Opel in the compact class further enhances the Astra’s dynamics. This includes the adaptive, networked IDSPlus chassis with electronic Continuous Damping Control (CDC) and the steering-linked AFL headlamps (Adaptive Forward Lighting).

    The Astra GTC (length/width incl. exterior mirrors/height: 4288/2033/1413 millimeters) boasts striking design features including sporty proportions with short overhangs, distinctive tail lights and, particularly compared to the five-door model, even more pronounced tapering of the front and rear. The characteristic arched sloping roof and the angular rear side windows create a particularly taut profile. The wide, sculpted shoulders accentuate the powerful shape of the body, which is around 15 millimeters lower than the five-door’s.

    The dynamics of the new Astra GTC’s looks turn into action on the road, thanks to the IDS chassis (Interactive Driving System) with ESPPlus, the optional IDSPlus adaptive chassis system with electronic damping control (CDC) and the networking of all electronic chassis systems. In addition, the GTC driver can activate a sport set-up at the touch of a button (SportSwitch) that regulates damper adjustment as well as accelerator-pedal and power steering response. In conjunction with automatic and Easytronic transmissions, gear shift points are modified for a sportier driving style.

    The Astra GTC is manufactured in Antwerp, Belgium, where the five-door model and the station wagon are also produced. Planned annual capacity for the three-door model is around 70,000 units. Marketing experts in Rüsselsheim expect the GTC to make up 15 to 20 percent of Astra registrations in Europe. The Astra GTC goes on sale in spring 2005.

    Dobro izgleda, nema šta 8)

    Sa 150 ks, obavezno bez automatike!, i jednu od ovih boja, i hmmm.... :shock: Koji bre Golf!







    Nažalost, moju omiljenu plavu odnosno više plavetnu (još) nemaju u sortimentu, kao npr. na ovima...

    ovo je OPC plava boja tj boja koju koliko znam mozes jedino vidjeti na OPEL OPC modelima

    Pa do pojave neke sportskije verzije Golfa(pri tom ne mislim na Golfa s 2 vrata i natpisom "GTi", vec do sportske verzije karoserije) - Astra vodi 1:0. Svaka cast Kadettu, ali cini mi se da je ova Astra najbolje sto je Opel ponudio u kompaktnoj klasi od kad proizvodi automobile...

    Da, Opel još nije proizvodio neki bolji model od nove Astre. Vozio sam jednu iz Slovenije, SAWAL...ima neke natpise...ima 1.6 TwinPort motor, još nisam vozio mirniji motor, radi dobro ali nije tako ekonomičan kako kažu.
    Pošto nije imala CDC, osjeti se nedostatak multilinka.
    Golf ima konzervativan dizajn ali Golf je Golf.

    Meni je dizajn Astre dopadljiviji, na papiru sve izgleda sjajno, a kakav je kvalitet i upotrebljivost u realnim(nasim) uslovima saobracaja - rano je o tome pricat...

    Nije bitno, koji misliš da ima kvaliteniju elektroniku i mehaniku, Astra ili Golf?

    Auta su tek predstavljena, na papiru su i jedno i drugo vrh, a koje je kvalitetnije - vrijeme ce da pokaze. Treba da se i Golf i Astra dokazu u realnim uslovima koriscenja.

    Mene Golf uopste ne fascinira. Malo mjesta u unutrasnjosti, paprena cijena, vec vidjen dizajn, problemi dizelskih motora zbog loseg goriva...ja bih prije kupio Astru. To je jednostavno stvar ukusa.

    Cini mi se da me je od Golfa najvise odbila cetvrta generacija. Mjesta pozadi ima kao u Polu, TDi stvara probleme posle 50 000, centralna brava zna da zasteka, farovi se rasteluju brzo pa moraju na podesavanje svakih 15 000km, prekidac za podesavanje osvjetljenja instrument table ispada iz lezista i odleti ko zna dje pri malo jacem pritisku...ma ni K od cuvenog Golfovog kvaliteta. Astra je moj favorit - drug mi ima jednu iz '97 - jedino je morao da mijenja zadnji lonac, jer mu se bio otkacio i slomio. Niti jednoga problema mimo toga! Unutrasnjost i danas izgleda kao nova...

    Slušaj mene:
    Komšija 1 ima Vectru 1.6 16V, promijenio je: mjenjač, diktung glave, 5-6 senzora, podizače prednjih stakala...........
    Komšija 2 je imao Astru 1.6 16V i toliko je imao problema da ga je prodao!
    Misliš da CR je izdržljiviji od PDE?

    ovo sto si rekao slazem se 100%
    i ovo je tipican kvar za opela (zadnji lonac) ,inace sto se mehanike tice nema nista da se pokvari a dizeli su izdrzljiviji od cuvenih vag-ovih
    pogotovo onaj 2.0dti 16v koji bez problema prelazi i po 300 iljada km
    a ovo sto se tice kvarova na vectru to jos nisam cuo
    da se pokvari ista na motor sem od fabie pogotovo kod 1.6 modela
    koji prelaze po pola miliona km bez greske
    a na astru pogotovo koja evo mene za 40 iljada km da kucnem nista
    e i da
    cr je daleko izdrzljiviji od pde

    Uz to da se doda arogancija VW-koncerna, što je za mene, pored preskupe cene, glavni razlog zašto sam protiv Golfa!

    LJudi morate shvatit da ne mozete o svakom primjerku (cak ni o vecini ) pricati da ne valja, da se sigurno kvari da bla bla....
    Moj komsija presao milion sa peglicom i evo je kao nova a drugi komsija presao 5 000 km sa SLR-om i crko motor :roll: Zakljucak PEGLICA vrh, SLR ****** , pa mislim... :roll:


    Kad bi 30% primjeraka jednog modela imalo te probleme , crkava ovo crkava ono, znate li koja bi to frka bila ? Kupci van jugoslavije ne trpe takve "promasaje "u izradi i pola fabrika bi se ugasilo.

    Licno sam se uvjerio nekoliko puta da su dva auta iste marke i tipa potpuno drugaciji (po kvalitetu) sto zavisi od serije i naravno odrzavanja (ako je polovno)

    Al' si naveo primer, ma stvarno..

    Jedan moj prijatelj je pre dve godine kupio onda novi Golf, i samo posle nedelju dana morao je da menja sijalice. Fabrička greška..

    Zamisli, kupiš nova kola baš is fabrike i nedelju dana kasnije ne možeš noći da voziš jer su sijalice otišle u ...! A to je bio samo početak...

    Na jednog takvog pokvarenog idu 50 ispravnih pa sto zakacis. Znam jednu curu koja je kupila 206 cc novog i koja je imala toliko problema sa tim autom da je to prosto nevjerovatno, da je licno ne znam ne bi vjerovao. E sad to ne znaci da je svaki takav i da je to auto generalno ******. O tome ja pricam...
    Naravno da je uzasno kad kupis nova kola i odma pocne nesto da crkava pa taman to bila i sijalica

    Eeee, rekao sam ja kakav je Pug.

    Ja istih problema sam imao i sa E klasom, novo auto koja košta 50 000 ojra i stane a Fiće prolazi!
