no, they are not the only provider nowdays... i would suggest internet packadge from Promonte ( www.promonte.com ). The only thing you need is good telephone (for faster connection 1.5+ up to 3mbps in theory) and 5 euros for their "special" sim card. Ofcourse, you need cable or bluetooth connection between your cell and laptop and software for your telephone (if its Nokia, then you need PC suite from that disk you get with the cell).
Note that you dont have to use high-end cell phone. You can use some older one withouth 3G support but then you will have down/up speed of arround 200 kbps.
I tryied to explain this because Promonte's website english version is not updated yet and this is rather new service... Cheers

Guess that hotels, shops etc. are well connected.

Yes I know, but as I said we need wirecom for download mostly.
Our potential costumers are hotels,shops and big chains like H&M etc.
Guess they always got wire /adsl.

I have a question. How can I connect to the internet in Usa (Florida), are there any pre-paid connections like we have now in Promonte? Should I take my NB with me since I need just net overthere (skype-ing)? I know for the hot-spots only, but won't be helpful all the time...

Was not thinking exactly on you but the guy who started all this, I do not know why and how but I guessed (location:California) that he is coming from Usa
