Marino Bizzi barski nadbiskup, bio je 1610. godine u posjeti nekim djelovima tadašnje Turske, bio je u Srbiji (na Kosovu), Albaniji, Baru, Ulcinju.
Napravio je izvještaj za Vatikan o stanju katoličke crkve u regionu koji je posjetio. Ovo je istorijski izvor I klase, objavljen je na našem jeziku 1985. u Budvi, u malom tiražu, nemam ovaj teklst na našem jeziku, ali ga ima na internetu na engleskom.

In this city, a bell rings from atop one of the many minarets which belong to the mosques. It keeps time by means of a clock built for the Turks by some Frenchmen, something quite unusual in Turkey. There are hardly more than 30 Latin homes. There is a church bearing the name of Our Lady of the Assumption, which within a short period was set on fire three times by the Turks and looted twice, in particular on the occasion of the murder among the janissaries. It has a good portico in front of it and a very large cemetery surrounded by walls. It has a chalice and paten and a small image with a silver cross, which is placed upon the altar when mass is celebrated. It had two silk chasubles with two nice tablecloths and a golden fore altar for the choir. There was no shrine, no baptistry and no holy oils. We therefore gave them some of ours. There are many schismatics in the city. They much exceed the number of the Latins, who have at their disposal only two churches out of the 80 they once had.

Dakle, bio je u Prizrenu, Prizren je veliki grad, ima 8400 kuća i svega 30 latinskih domova.
Kaže da tamo ima jedna katolička crkva koju su Turci u kratkom periodu palili 3 puta i pljačkali 2 puta. Kaže da broj pravoslavaca (šizmatika) znatno nadmašuje broj katolika, koji imaju svega 2 crkve na raspolaganju, od nekadašnjih 80 katoličkih crkava!
Znači katolici su u Prizrenu na raspolaganju imali 80 crkava prije Turaka! Mozda je pretjerao mozda je duplirao, al ako su imali i 40 crkava, mozemo zakljuciti da je bio veliki broj katolika u Prizrenu!
Još jedan perfektan istorijski dokaz o neopisivoj mržnji Turaka prema katoličkoj crkvi. U momentu kad ovo Bizzi piše, ovo je već 1610. godina, Turci već 150 godina vladaju Srbijom, ogromni dio posla oko uništavanja katoličanstva u Srbiji već su bili završili.
Nema sumnje da u današnjoj užoj Srbiji živjelo i 20% katolika prije Turaka, u Nemanjićkoj Albaniji živjelo je 70-80% katolika, u Zeti do Turaka 30-50% katolika.

- Bizzi takođe kaže kako je šizmatički (pravoslavni) mitropolit "poslao njegove janičare ...", znači Turci su pravoslavnom mitropolitu dodijeli janičare, elitne turske vojnike, da ga paze i da mu pomažu!
- Još jedan perfektan dokaz o favorizovanje pravoslavlja u odnosu na katoličanstvo, za vrijeme vladavine Turaka.
U prvih nekoliko vjekova turskog vladanja na Balkanu, dakle u 15. u 16. u 17. vijeku, Turci su se bili potpuno koncetrisani na uništavanje katoličanstva, tamo đe su vladali. Zašto? Razlozi su vrlo jednostavni.
Rimski Papa (čitaj KATOLIČKA CRKVA) je u 14., 15., 16., 17., ... vijeku, bio nekoliko puta organizator vojnih pohoda protiv Turaka, on je bio apsolutno najvažnija osoba koja je organizovala pokušaje išćerivanja Turaka iz Evrope. Kad su to Turci shvatili ko je glavni oragnizator protiv njih, a brzo su to shvatili, naravno da im je apsolutno Papa (čitaj KATOLIČKA CRKVA) bio najveći dušmanin, najveći neprijatelj, shvatali su ga kao najvećeg od svih neprijatelja.
I što su povodom toga radili na teritoriji đe su vladali?
Pa naravno, krvnički su progonili katoličko svještenstvo - Papine exponente, svuđe đe su mogli.
